Mean, median and mode

Today we will learn something new, we will learn about three things today, mean, median and mode. You always work on mean median mode range worksheets, So in order to refresh your learning on these three concepts, i am into this piece of writing.

Following is the mean median mode definitions for your better understanding:

When some data is colleted, we have certain numbers which represent the characteristics of the data, around which the data appears to be concentrated; we call such numbers as the measures of central tendency. There are three measures of central tendency. (i) Mean (ii) Median and (iii) Mode. The mean or arithmetic mean is a collection of numbers is the sum of all of numbers in the list divided by the number of items in a list. The median is the middle term of a group of data. Mode is the most repeated term in a group of data.

I hope when you work on mean, mode and median now, you know what each means exactly. This will help you to know better and work better. Next time we will try to move on to some other concepts of math.
