Introduction:
Just giving a thought to the numbers, i realize how there are such lot of distinctions within these numbers: list of even numbers and odd numbers, list of prime numbers, list of composite numbers and so on. As a child i always used to get confused with these distinctions, however it doesn't seem that hard now. Let's do one thing, today we will confine our self with just numbers, i mean distinctions of numbers.
Prime numbers:
Starting with the prime numbers 1-100, let us first know what is exactly prime numbers. Prime numbers are those natural numbers which are exactly divided by two natural numbers, 1 and itself. As for example: 2, 3, 5, 7, ..... 97.
Composite numbers:
Moving on to composite numbers, let us get the answer to what is a composite number? Composite numbers are those which have factors other than 1 and itself. Except all the 25 prime numbers between 1 to 100, others are composite numbers. As for example: 4, 6, 8,....100.
So, here is something about prime numbers and composite numbers. Next time we will explore with the other distinctions of numbers.
