Something new about math
I was not very good at math when i was in school and now i am quite good at it and that is why may be possible that whenever i hear a new term on math, i start exploring it. The same curiosity brought me deal with permutations and combinations. I am sure you will enjoy this learning.
The different arrangements that can be made with a given number of things taking some or all of them at a time are called permutations. Permutation formula is given below:
Formula: nPk = n!/(n-k)!= n (n-1) (n-2)….. (n-k+1).
The symbol nPr or P(n,r) is used to denote the number of permutations of n things taken r at a time.
The selection of a number of things taking some or all of them at a time is called combinations.

I always found prime numbers interesting. Not because it seemed easy for me but because i had a quality basic learning on prime numbers and that made my base stronger. Yesterday my niece asked me to get the list of prime numbers to 100 and thus i recalled my interests on prime numbers.
Prime numbers are those which are exactly divided by only 1 and itself. As for examples: 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13...... So any prime numbers have only two factors and that is 1 and itself. I explained this to her and said that following this she can get prime numbers to 1000 and even more.
However, i did made the list of prime numbers for her. And i must say one thing, she is now quite good with prime numbers and she can make out the prime numbers herself.
This is how i made prime numbers easy for her and also a bit interesting. You too should try the same thing. I bet you will enjoy and also the younger ones.

Algebraic help
These days i have got a new job and that is to teach my niece every night. I say it is not that easy to deal with today's kids. I need to refresh all my learning before making her learn in order to avoid embarrassing situation in front of her. Yesterday she asked me to help her as an algebraic equation solver and for that i had to brush up my knowledge on algebra first. Then i thought it would not be a bad idea to share with you all about my experience with algebra problems. As a result, i am writing it here.
My niece wanted to know about the algebraic formulas for shapes and so i made list of it to make it easy for her. Want to check the list, well it is as follows:
Algebraic formula for:
Square: a2
Rectangle: l*w
Triangle: b*h
Rhombus: 1/2*a*b
Parallelogram: b*h
Trapezoid: 1/2(a+b)h

I have always explored with my knowledge and tried to serve you help on math, i have the same intention today also. Today i will try to give you some quality information on how to get math answers step by step.
In order to get math answers step by step, it is very important that you know the rules to solve step by step and are familiar with the problems. Suppose you are working on any logarithm problem, the very important thing is that you should know differentiation rules of algorithm first and then start solving it.

Order in Math
Introduction:
If we start discussing about the concepts of math, the discussion would never be over. Starting from algebra, adding square roots, radicals, geometry, trigonometry and the lists never ends. It goes on and on and on. I am not an expertise in math so i won't go with the complex ones. Today i will share my knowledge on the orders in math. Yes about orders, what got confused! Don't be, because it is about ascending and descending order.
Number ordering:
Number ordering is the process of arranging numbers in a definite pattern. In math there are basically two orders of numbering: ascending order and descending order.
Ascending order:
Ascending order is that where numbers are arranged in the increasing order i,e. arranging from smaller to bigger number and using the smaller than sign "<" for ascending order. As for example: 1<2<3<4<5<6<7<8<9<10.
Descending order is that pattern of order where numbers are arranged in the decreasing order i,e. arranging from bigger to smaller number and using the greater than sign ">" for descending order. As for example: 10>9>8>7>6>5>4>3>2>1.
Conclusion:
Ascending and descending order are used for many purposes and so though simple it is essential to math. Today i dealt with the the two basic patterns of arranging numbers. Some other time we will try to move on with the harder concepts of math. Till then enjoy ordering.

As a child i always used to get confused with these distinctions, however it doesn't seem that hard now. Let's do one thing, today we will confine our self with just numbers, i mean distinctions of numbers.
Prime numbers:
Starting with the prime numbers 1-100, let us first know what is exactly prime numbers. Prime numbers are those natural numbers which are exactly divided by two natural numbers, 1 and itself. As for example: 2, 3, 5, 7, ..... 97.

Basics of math
Introduction:
Math is always the hated most subject among the students. I too used to hate math like anything in my school. But now i realize math becomes easy if the process of learning is in the right track. Don't worry i am not going to give you any moral lectures. Here i will talk about the basic functions of math. I will talk about questions like: how to add, how to subtract, how to multiply and how to divide.
Learning math:
You must be thinking. These are so simple. Other things like complex numbers, fractions simplification are more tougher. Then why not talk about those but what i am trying to say is most of the problems has these four functions only. The only thing is they are put in a difficult manner. So what we should do is just simplify the problem and then solve it. I tried it myself and it helps you for sure. Just try it once.
Always learning from the root level is best because this makes our hold over the concept much stronger. If you are learning radicals, start with some basic examples of radicals. So i guess now you know how to learn. What are you waiting for then, just start and have a blast.
Algebra fun
The title itself might have been shocking for you. You are thinking how can math be fun when we find it so hard to tackle. Equations in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, adding and subtracting radicals and so on. One is tougher than the other. How to solve it then.
Starting with algebra, we give up with the equations. There are linear equations which are algebraic expressions and these terms are like enough for us to get scared.
But few things are very
important. Rather than struggling with the harder concepts, it is always better to start with the basic ones. This will help us to understand the concept better and to solve it both.
Algebra deals with expressions and variables, so what we need to do is to understand the basics of expressions and variable first and then moving with the equations.

While dealing with mathematics few terms always make us tensed. Arithmetic progression and geometric progression are few.
Arithmetic progression is also called arithmetic sequence. A sequence or progression is a group of number or letters arranged in an order. These terms are generally denoted as a1, a2, a3........an.
The suffix denotes the location of the term.
Arithmetic progression is that sequence where the sequence begins with a and then each term is found by adding the common difference d. As for example: a, a+d, a+2d, a+3d....

Geometry is a very essential part of mathematics. It is basically a part of practical knowledge dealing with the study of lengths, areas and volumes. The basic figures of geometry are triangle, rectangle, square and circle.
Triangle is that shape of geometry which is formed with the intersection of three lines. It is a closed figure having three sides and three angles.
Rectangle is that which is formed with the intersection of four lines. The opposite sides of a rectangle are equal and parallel.
Square like rectangle is also formed with the intersection of three sides but in a square all four sides are of equal length.
Circle is that shape which has a fixed point called the center and the the circumference is equidistant from the center.
